Overview
The Expeditor is responsible
- To ensure vendors submit documents and deliver the materials and equipment within required date, eventually to meet the construction schedule at Plant site
- Managing the flow of materials, information, and resources between departments within an organization to ensure efficiency and timely completion of projects.
Scope of work
- Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between sections or departments
according to production and shipping schedules.
- Review production schedules and related information and confer with department supervisors to determine material requirements.
- Coordinate with the EPCIC Contractor on a regular basis to know the update status on each procured
goods/equipment to ensure the progress can meet Company’s project schedule
- Determine sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.
- Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure timely delivery of goods or services.
- Taking corrective action against problems such as schedule delays
- Monitor and control materials, products, and resources to avoid wastage and minimize costs.
- Communicate with all relevant departments and personnel to ensure assignments are completed on time.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- To visit the Vendor’s premises on a required basis to ensure the materials/equipment are following Contract requirements

- Qualifications:
- Education:
- 1. Degree in business administration, supply chain management, or relevant field is a plus
- Experience & Knowledge:
- • Proven experience as an Expeditor or similar role in manufacturing or EPC in the Oil and Gas industry more than 5 years
