Overview

The Expeditor is responsible

  • To ensure vendors submit documents and deliver the materials and equipment within required date, eventually to meet the construction schedule at Plant site
  • Managing the flow of materials, information, and resources between departments within an organization to ensure efficiency and timely completion of projects.

Scope of work

  • Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between sections or departments

according to production and shipping schedules.

  • Review production schedules and related information and confer with department supervisors to determine material requirements.
  • Coordinate with the EPCIC Contractor on a regular basis to know the update status on each procured

goods/equipment to ensure the progress can meet Company’s project schedule

  • Determine sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.
  • Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure timely delivery of goods or services.
  • Taking corrective action against problems such as schedule delays
  • Monitor and control materials, products, and resources to avoid wastage and minimize costs.
  • Communicate with all relevant departments and personnel to ensure assignments are completed on time.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • To visit the Vendor’s premises on a required basis to ensure the materials/equipment are following Contract requirements

  • Qualifications:
  • Education:
  • 1. Degree in business administration, supply chain management, or relevant field is a plus
  • Experience & Knowledge:
  • • Proven experience as an Expeditor or similar role in manufacturing or EPC in the Oil and Gas industry more than 5 years
