QC Inspector Mechanical Static

Overview

Inspects mechanical static equipment (vessels, tanks, exchangers, pumps) for dimensional, material and workmanship compliance during fabrication.

Scope of work

Reports to the QA/QC Lead; inspects mechanical static equipment for dimensional accuracy, material quality and workmanship against design specifications and approved drawings. Verifies welds and piping installation, documents non-conformities, checks surface prep/painting, and maintains QA/QC records and reports for the contractor/vendor relationship.

Key requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Welding Engineering, or related field
• 10 years inspection experience in EPC and/or equivalent facilities/projects
• Able to read, write and speak English
