Overview

Inspect excavation, foundations, reinforcement, formwork, concrete, structural works; document compliance and non-conformances; support measurement and handover inspections.

Scope of work

Inspect civil and structural works including excavation, foundations, reinforcement, formwork, concrete, and other structural elements as assigned.
Check materials and workmanship against approved drawings and inspection plans.
Witness required inspections and tests, maintaining site quality records.
Identify defects or non-conformances and track their close-out actions.
Support measurement records, punch lists, and handover inspections.
Interpret drawings, specifications and inspection records.

Key requirements

Diploma or relevant qualification in civil engineering, structural engineering or construction
Relevant civil and structural site inspection or clerk of works experience
Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and inspection records
