Engineering Coordinator

Overview

Coordinate between JV engineering and Engineering Lead, track deliverables, identify and resolve blocking points.

Scope of work

• Act as the working-level interface between the JV engineering team and the Engineering Lead for all technical queries, transmittals, and comment resolution.
• Track status of all deliverables within assigned scope, verifying progress against actual work state beyond reporting system.
• Identify blocking points during production before deliverables reach review and drive them towards resolution.
• Prepare and issue weekly coordination pack including late deliverables, root causes, and recovery actions.
• Support Discipline Leads in decisions on issuing deliverables with known open points or holding for further inputs, documenting decisions.
• Maintain interface register for assigned scope and follow up on outstanding interface items closure.

Key requirements

• Degree in an engineering discipline
• Minimum 12 years’ experience in oil and gas engineering
• At least four years’ experience in an engineering coordination, project engineering or lead engineering role
• Practical experience using an electronic document management system and managing engineering deliverable status reporting
