Overview
Own the engineering execution of the utilities modules within the JV scope, from FEED roll out through to issue for construction.
Scope of work
- Drive the multi discipline execution of the utilities modules, including but not limited to water treatment,
air, nitrogen, chemical injection, HVAC and firewater.
- Manage the integration of vendor packages allocated to the utilities modules, including the review and
timely closure of vendor data.
- Coordinate the disciplines within the area and resolve clashes and sequencing conflicts at working level.
- Verify area progress in the model and with the designers, and report the real position.
- Escalate area level risks to the Deputy Project Manager with a proposed mitigation.
Key requirements
- Degree in Mechanical, Process or equivalent engineering discipline.
- Minimum 10 years in oil and gas detailed engineering
- Direct experience of offshore utilities systems and of vendor package integration.
- Experience of modular topsides execution.
- Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
