Scope of work
Role purpose
Monitor daily construction activities and support site teams in applying agreed safety controls.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out daily safety observations and report unsafe acts and conditions.
- Check implementation of task-specific controls and approved work procedures.
- Support toolbox talks, site briefings and worker safety awareness.
- Track corrective actions and escalate immediate hazards to the responsible supervisor.
- Maintain site safety inspection and daily activity records.
Candidate requirements
- Relevant safety qualification or recognised site safety training.
- Experience supervising safety on construction sites.
- Ability to identify site hazards and communicate practical corrective actions.
