Technical Recruiter / Sourcer

Overview

Manage end-to-end recruitment including sourcing, screening, candidate coordination and stakeholder communication on site in Kuala Lumpur.

Scope of work

• Run intake and calibration sessions; develop documented sourcing and screening plans for each role.
• Build role-specific market maps, create target organisation lists, use Boolean searches and multi-channel outreach.
• Actively source candidates through at least three channels, maintaining accurate records of all contacts and actions.
• Conduct duplicate, ownership, and conflict checks before submissions.
• Prepare complete candidate submission packs to meet contractual shortlist deadlines.
• Coordinate interviews, assessments, and candidate communications with recruitment coordinator.
• Manage candidate expectations through feedback, offers, notice periods, counter-offer risks, pre-boarding, and commencement.
• Update applicant tracking system within one business day of events; contribute accurate data to dashboards and reports.
• Protect confidentiality, candidate consent, personal data; disclose conflicts of interest.
• Work embedded onsite at client premises in Kuala Lumpur, reporting to RPO Project Lead.
• Fulfill contractual requirement of providing at least three qualified candidates per requisition within ten business days.

Key requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Psychology, Engineering, or technical discipline
• Minimum 7 years full-cycle recruitment experience
• Minimum 5 years recruiting technical oil and gas or energy roles within the last 7 years
• Delivered at least 15 successful technical hires personally in one consecutive 12 month period within last 5 years
• Direct experience coordinating technical interviews and managing offers
• Minimum 2 years hands-on applicant tracking system use with named platforms
