Overview
Manage process module execution, safeguard design intent, coordinate disciplines, integrate vendor packages, and report engineering progress.
Scope of work
- Drive multidisciplinary execution of process modules from FEED roll-out to Issue for Construction.
- Safeguard process design intent established during FEED and control deviations through change-management.
- Manage integration of process-related vendor packages and ensure vendor data closure.
- Coordinate inputs from Process, Piping, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation and Control, and Technical Safety disciplines within the assigned area.
- Verify actual area progress through the engineering model and direct engagement with designers.
- Report real engineering progress instead of relying solely on reported percentages.
- Escalate area-level risks to Deputy Project Manager with proposed mitigation measures.
- Maintain strong technical authority and defend technically justified positions in design discussions.
- Exhibit strong cross-discipline awareness and coordination skills.
- Escalate problems early with proposed solutions or mitigation.
Key requirements
- Degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a closely related discipline
- Minimum 12 years of experience in oil and gas detailed engineering
- Direct experience with offshore oil and gas process modules, separation systems, treatment systems, modular topsides execution, vendor package integration
