QC Inspector Structural - Haining

Overview

Conduct inspections and evaluations to ensure structural and modular components meet design specifications, contract, industrial standards, regulatory requirements and codes, and has responsibility and authority for :

Scope of work

• Support Lead QA/QC to control Contractor /Vendor to implementation of Quality Management System manufacturing, shop fabrication / modularization in cooperation with Engineering, Construction and all functions to establish and implemented project quality documentation, such as : Quality Plan, Quality Procedures & Shop Inspection Test Plan, etc.
• Inspect modular assemblies to verify dimensional accuracy, material quality, and workmanship.
• Structural inspections to examine welds, bolts, and connections for compliance.
• Verify design specifications to check compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and regulations.
• Collaborate with with all related Engineers, Contractor and fabricators base on contract requirements
• Supports the Lead QA/QC to Controlling the overall quality activities of the manufacturing, shop fabrication / modularization
• Ensuring that the tests, controls and inspections are carried out (cutting, fit up, welding, NDT) and also documented in accordance with the Project Requirements
• Check surface preparation prior painting and painting application to verify correct application and also documented in accordance with the Project

Requirements

• Manage documentation with Contractor: Maintain accurate records of QA/QC activities, inspection reports, and certification documents.
• Supporting Lead QA/QC in relations with the Meeting with Contractor, manufacturing, shop fabrication / modularization

Key requirements

• POSITION REQUIREMENT
• 1. Education & Experience:
• - Minimum Bachelor degree of Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Mechanical/Welding Engineering, or related field, with ten (10) years inspection experience in EPC and/or equivalent facilities / Project, shall be able to read, write and speak English Language.
• - Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, construction in oil and gas industries
• 2. Requirements:
• - Qualified Welding Inspector CSWIP 3.1 Certificate (Mechanical)
• - Familiarity with global standards and regulation
