Energy Manager (Senior Executive)

Overview

Leads energy-efficiency initiatives, energy audits and EECA 2024 compliance, and supports electrical/mechanical asset maintenance.

Scope of work

Leads energy-management initiatives across yard and production facilities, ensuring compliance with the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Act (EECA) 2024. Monitors and reports energy consumption/KPIs, conducts energy audits, develops efficiency projects, supports renewable (solar PV) initiatives, and supports operation/maintenance of electrical, mechanical and utility assets including condition monitoring, risk-based inspection and CMMS record-keeping.

Key requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognised university
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in energy management, electrical asset management, facility management, engineering operations or plant utilities
• Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia
• Registered Energy Manager (REM) Type 2 under EECA 2024
