Lead Pipeline Engineer

Overview

Leads pipeline engineering activities and mentors engineering teams across FEED through EPCIC execution for offshore projects.

Scope of work

Leads pipeline engineering activities throughout FEED, detailed engineering and EPCIC phases: reviews and approves engineering deliverables, calculations, drawings and specifications; coordinates activities against quality/schedule/budget objectives; mentors pipeline engineers and designers; reviews pipeline routing, material selection, wall thickness calculations and installation methodologies; participates in technical bid evaluations and tender submissions; reviews BOMs and vendor documentation; supports fabrication, construction, commissioning and site technical clarifications.

Key requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering discipline
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in pipeline engineering within oil & gas
• At least 3 years in a Lead Engineer or engineering management role
