Overview
Own the interface register between the JV scope and the scope retained by the Engineering Lead, and between the JV scope and the shipyard, hull and vendor scopes
Scope of work
- Establish and maintain the project interface register, including interface owners, required by dates and
status.
- Chair interface review meetings and drive closure of open interface items.
- Verify that interface agreements are reflected in the deliverables of both parties.
- Report interface status and overdue items weekly to the Deputy Project Manager.
- Escalate unresolved interfaces before they become schedule impacts.
Key requirements
- Degree in an engineering discipline.
- Minimum 10 years in oil and gas engineering, of which at least 3 years in interface management.
- Experience of a split execution model between two or more engineering centres.
- Experience on FPSO, FPU or comparable offshore facility.
