Overview

Owns design integrity and assurance across all disciplines as Design Authority, leading a 5-person Owner's Engineer team.

Scope of work

Acts as project Design Authority on the client's behalf, safeguarding design integrity and assurance across all disciplines for a major Sarawak infrastructure project. Freezes and enforces technical standards, leads and coordinates the multidisciplinary Owner's Engineer team (Mechanical, Civil & Structure, Electrical & Instrumentation, Process managers), verifies code/safety compliance, and supports EPCC/Design & Build delivery, interfacing with client and contractors.

Key requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or equivalent)
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) with BEM — mandatory
• 12+ years' overall experience including EPCC / Design & Build delivery
