Overview
Own the engineering execution of the pipe rack, the flare structure and all interfaces between the topsides and the hull, within the JV scope.
Scope of work
- Drive the multi discipline execution of the assigned area from FEED roll out through to issue for
construction.
- Own the hull to topsides interface register, including structural supports, penetrations, routing and loads,
and close interface items with the hull scope holder.
- Coordinate the structural, piping, electrical and instrumentation work within the area and resolve clashes
and sequencing conflicts at working level.
- Verify area progress physically, in the 3D model and with the designers, and report the real position.
- Escalate area level risks to the Deputy Project Manager with a proposed mitigation.
Key requirements
- Degree in Mechanical, Structural or Piping engineering.
- Minimum 10 years in oil and gas detailed engineering.
- Direct experience of pipe rack and flare structure engineering on an offshore facility.
- Demonstrated experience of hull to topsides interface management on an FPSO or FPU.
- Working knowledge of a 3D plant design environment.
- Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
